Terms of use
1. Acceptance
By ticking the box and signing in you confirm that you are 18 or older, have read the Privacy page and agree to these terms. Only Gmail (Google) accounts with a verified email can sign in.
2. What this is
Linh Co Tu is a fictional space for wandering, sitting in stillness and learning kindness. The characters in the temple are made by us: they are not real monastics, do not hear confession, do not forgive sins and do not replace a real temple. For real practice, please go to your own temple and teacher.
3. Your title
A title is optional; by default you carry a numbered name. A title is 2–20 characters of letters, digits (at most 4) and a single space between words. No vulgar or insulting words, advertising, phone numbers, links, names of politicians, or other religions used to provoke. No monastic titles and no names of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, so that no one is mistaken for a real monastic. Titles cannot duplicate another person's, and can change at most once every 7 days. A title that breaks these rules is returned to the numbered name.
4. Conduct
Keep this place quiet: no harassment, no bothering others, no automated tools, no attempts to break the system.
5. Trial version, no warranty
This is a trial. The service may be interrupted, data may be reset, and we may change or stop the service.
6. Changes and contact
The terms may change; the new version will be posted on this page. Contact details will be added before the public opening.
